Ahmet Guven has been a Graduate Research Assistant at the Learning Systems Institute (LSI) at Florida State University (FSU) since January 2018. He previously worked as an assistant research in the department of science education/teaching at Sakarya University in Turkey. He has earned his master's degree in the program of Research and Evaluation Methodology at University of Florida (UF). He is a Ph.D. candidate in the program of Measurement and Statistics at FSU. His research interest is Item Response Theory (IRT) and Machine Learning. He works on the data analysis and writing of the psychometric reports at the LSI. He likes cooking, going fishing and playing soccer, tennis, and video games in his free time. Ahmet has a little cockatiel (Cico in the right corner), which is a member of cockatoo family. Cico speaks a few words.
